Recipe Saturday


I got this recipe from pioneer woman's website. I just change it a little. But it is one of my favorite recipes.


Pasta alla Vodka

1 medium onion,

chopped finely2 to 3 cloves of garlic chopped

1 1/4 cup vodka

2 cans tomato puree 32oz

1 can tomato sauce 16oz

2 cup heavy cream

2 pound pasta

1 cup grate Parmesan cheese

Cook pasta according to package directions, being careful not to overcook.
In a large skillet cook onions and garlic. Pour in vodka. Stir and cook for three minutes.
Add in tomato puree and tomato sauce and stir.
Reduce heat to low and stir in cream. Allow to simmer, being careful not to overheat. Stir in Parmesan cheese.Drain the pasta,Add cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to combine.
Pour mixture into large serving bowl.
