I am going to try to write a post every week about what foods are bad for us, why we shouldn't eat them and what we should eat instead of them. I got this information off of this website.
Vegetable Oils
Vegetable oils like corn, soy, and canola are beneficial on their own. But by using them for cooking they are heavily refined and processed, rendering them rancid and
toxic. For a long time now, these cooking oils have been mistakenly regarded as
the "healthier" choice, but experts have now pointed out that this is a fatal
mistake. The truth is, coconut oil unlike most unsaturated oils, coconut oil does
not turn toxic when cooked. You can also use oils like extra virgin olive oil for light cooking and sauteing, or even grapeseed oil for high heat cooking.
